What I do
I write a lot of JavaScript and TypeScript — and whatever else gets the job done.
I've been building software professionally since 2018 across startups, consultancies, and product teams: full-stack apps, distributed systems, APIs, and cloud infrastructure. I'm a Senior Product Engineer at MetaMask, building products used by millions on mobile and web. I care about shipping: clean architecture, pragmatic abstractions, thoughtful UX.
I've also taught part-time at a nationwide coding bootcamp. I really enjoy sharing knowledge, especially when it comes to how technology can make a positive impact in your life. See my resume for the full picture.
When I'm not building software or playing strategy games, I'm usually outside: surf when I can, snowboard in winter, travel often. I bring a camera along for the ride — here's some of that. Also love camping and long road trips, especially when the destination is unknown.
Yes, I have an MBA
I grew up in Hawaii and earned an MBA from the University of Hawaii (Information Systems, 2021) and a graduate of Devleague's full-stack program.
Got my bachelor's degree from a small liberal arts college in Rome, Italy called John Cabot University. There may have been wine.
I learned to code at a bootcamp called Devleague, one of the best decisions I've ever made!
Remote, before it was cool
I've been remote since 2018. I'm a firm believer that talent is globally distributed; remote work, done well, is a diversity multiplier.
I've lived and worked across the U.S. and Europe, and have dual U.S. and Italian citizenship — I visit family in Italy often.
There was also a nomadic stretch that included a Subaru, laptop, and the American West. Seattle is home base now; I'm always up for an adventure!
Technically speaking...
Node.js ecosystem, React, React Native, cloud-native backends. AWS Solutions Architect certified. Hands-on experience with CI/CD, Docker, and Terraform in distributed, real-time systems.
I've worked with Go, PHP, and Python; I like solving hard problems: state sync, APIs that scale well as they age, and modern infrastructure that lets teams move fast. More on my resume.
AI has made programming fun again
I use AI as a daily driver, and it has become a force multiplier in my workflow — faster prototyping, more exploration, and side projects I used to only think about.

The surface area of what's possible feels wide open again. I'm building things for myself again and can't wait to share more!
